Do you know about Rescue Ink from their National Geographic series? This group of eight tough guys covered in tattoos rescues New York's abused and neglected animals. These guys are my heroes. If you watch a few videos you'll see the types of cases they take on and how they handle serious abuse situations with ease.
Honestly, if these guys were knocking on my door I'd be ready with an explanation of what I was up to!
The show description on Nat Geo's site states that they are all about zero tolerance when it comes to animal abuse,
"They're not afraid to get a little in-your-face to prove it. This group of tough guys will stop at nothing within the bounds of the law to save animals from desperate situations; they rescue fighting dogs, confront animal abusers, and investigate stolen animals. They are ex-firefighters, bodybuilders, hot rod mechanics and bouncers, and they're not afraid of using their brawn to bust the bad guys."
They're based in Long Island, New York and they stay (of course they do) within the boundaries of the law.
The Epoch Times Tells us that all have had post-run-ins with the law at some point,
"Some members have had past run-ins with the law; some are bikers, ex-bodybuilders, or powerlifting champs, while others are ex-military, detectives, or lawyers."
They search out people that abuse animals and support all the major animal rescues like the ASPCA. They take the most heinous cases first according to the video posted below.
They will also support the community to make sure that pets don't end up at shelters when they can step in and help out. When pet owners are in difficult situations these bikers step in to buy groceries for example when there isn't any food in the house.

Animal lovers will fall in love with these tattooed bikers as they are the new rescuers working hard every day to ensure animal cruelty is wiped off the map in Long Island.
