In need of some muskie inspiration? This gallery won’t disappoint.
The muskie has long been thought of as “the fish of 10,000 casts.” Now, that might be a slight exaggeration, but if you ask these accomplished lady anglers, they’ll each tell you the same thing – catching a muskie takes persistence, determination, and the uncanny ability to get into the mindset of this top-of-the-line fish.
We’re fairly confident to say that the following ten anglers have an incurable case of the muskie bug. They each fish hard, put time on the water, and reap the rewards that comes with subduing these hard-battling beasts. (Take our featured lady, Rebekka Redd. Her monster muskie was taken on a 12-inch streamer and fly rod. That’s hardcore!)
You can click on each name to be taken to their Facebook Fan Page or Instagram account.

(Cosens set the new Maryland record on May 6 with this 32.5 pound muskie. Read the full story HERE.)
How was that for some muskie inspiration? Seeing these big and beautiful fish certainly gets the blood pumping – and an eagerness to spend some time on the water chasing them.
Good luck this muskie season. We here at Wide Open Spaces hope you land a monster.
