Video: Hickok 45 Takes the Remington 870 TAC-14 for a Test Shoot

Hickok 45 reviews the Remington 870 TAC-14.

There's been a lot of buzz over the Mossberg Shockwave, a 14-inch-barrel shotgun, since its release.

Receiving less notice has been the Remington alternative, the TAC-14. Remington took their classic and popular 870 shotgun and made it into a much smaller package.

Hear all the nitty-gritty details from YouTube gun guru Hickok 45.

It's interesting how gunmakers are designing firearms that find legal loopholes like this. The biggest difference between this and the Shockwave seems to be shell capacity. It's curious Remington didn't at least make it equal in capacity, but if you don't mind one less round, the TAC-14 might be the way to go.

This might also be an alternative for people who liked the idea behind the Shockwave, but aren't Mossberg fans.

In any case, both of these shotguns are probably sure to find fans in people looking for a short-barrel, home-defense shotgun!
