What's cooler, this great underwater view of a brown bear catching a salmon, or the fact that somebody got close enough to get it?
According to the YouTuber that posted the video, this took place in the Ozernaya River in Russia.
It has an amazing underwater look at what a big brown bear sees when he's trying to catch lunch. Once you see those intensely huge claws come out, you know a nice salmon is about to become a tasty treat.
This is lucky for the photographer, but for the fish, not so much.
Someone apparently shot this footage in the Kamchatka Federal Sanctuary near Lake Kurile. The Ozernaya River is said to be one of the finest trout and salmon fisheries in Asia and replete with rainbow trout.
This sounds like a great addition to our fishing bucket list. Now we just have to find a guide with nerves of steel like this underwater photographer!
