Rescue your rescue dog with Purina Pro Plan Calming Care!
Dog anxiety is very common in adult dogs, especially after the pandemic when separation anxiety is so prevalent. I have one adult dog, a not-quite-one-year-old puppy, plus I watch my family's dog fairly often. My adult dog (her name is Lilo) has a tragic history that has given her a lot of anxious behaviors during stressful events. Her anxiety issues can be tough to manage, especially since it's tough to communicate that different stressors for dogs (loud noises, thunderstorms, etc.) are harmless.

Purina Pro Plan created a probiotic supplement with the proprietary use of probiotic strain BL999 to help dogs maintain calm behavior. The only active ingredient is bifidobacterium longum, and the dog probiotics have a liver flavor. Maltodextrin is an inactive ingredient added. Each sachet contains 1X10^9 CFU of Bifidobacterium longum BL999.
Lilo struggles with separation anxiety and I have tried to give her similar treatments in soft chew form, but she is incredibly picky and won't eat them. The Purina Pro Plan Calming Care probiotic can just be poured on her dry dog food in the morning and we don't have to go through the whole struggle of convincing her to take a chew or supplement. Probiotics support a healthy immune system and promote healthy fortiflora in your dog's belly. She's been taking it for about six weeks now, and she has a much more positive emotional state and doesn't pace or whine nearly as much when we leave. She's much mellower overall, even during stressful events like meeting a new person or dog. Customer reviews from dog owners on Amazon have raved about this product for dog anxiety and said it's worked wonders for them too. The below photo is a picture of Lilo now. She's much more relaxed more often, and has started accepting treats.

It's been so great to see her relax and start to transform into a normal dog. We've had her for a few years and she is finally starting to unwind in her new surroundings and love her new home!

We were also sent a few bags of Purina PRIME Jerky Tenders, and my dogs go crazy for these chewable jerky treats. Even my pickiest dog agrees they have excellent palatability and will do pretty much anything for one of these tenders.

The ingredients list is great, with real meat and only a few ingredients (all of which are recognizable and pronounceable, thankfully)! I think these treats may be the winner in terms of their new favorites.
