Coachella Puppy Found Beaten, Burned and Left for Dead is Defying All Odds

This puppy is amazing and the remarkable recovery is nothing short of a miracle. This is the third story about abused animals that are left in dumpsters over the past few months. We just wrote an article about a woman in Coachella arrested for dumping seven newborn puppies into a dumpster behind an auto parts shop.

If you can believe it this story is an entirely different "puppy left in a dumpster" story and fortunately, this story has a happy ending. The rescue Animal Hope & Wellness, an organization that takes in not only shelter animals or strays but animals that have been abused, neglected, left behind and forgotten about took in this sweet soul.

Vets thought this puppy would never walk again. Now 'Hope' (how sweet they named her this!) is defying all odds. Animal Hope & Wellness have a statement and video on Instagram that is posted below and apparently, she was thrown into a dumpster in Coachella. Found tied in a plastic bag with burns on her back. Her legs were crushed, and she was rushed to an emergency vet hospital in critical condition.

Through consistent rehab and care, she took steps we never thought she could. Her burns haven't healed completely but she's living comfortably with a foster family.

More below.

Fox29 reports that Hope's injuries were horrific, to say the least. They discovered the extent of her injuries were jaw-dropping.

"It appears as if she was burned with a caustic substance, or a metal object like an iron. She is only a few weeks old, had a portion of her tail cut off, and can not walk due to being beat and assaulted. Her back legs were crushed and she may never walk again."

They do need the public's help!

This puppy was found in a trash bin in a plastic Walmart bag down the street from another dumpster where seven puppies were left...in Coachella! What is happening?

The video shows this Coachella puppy is doing so well!
