One man did not seem to get the message, as he snuck into the famous pygmy hippo Moo Deng's enclosure at a Thai zoo. The man has since been arrested for his actions.
Man Is Arrested After Sneaking Into Moo Deng's Enclosure
NBC News shared the details surrounding this ordeal. According to the outlet, the Thai man waited for the keeper to leave the scene before hopping into Moo Deng's enclosure. Despite waiting for a time when no keepers or other visitors were around, this man forgot that the cameras are always watching. Security footage shows the man hopping into the enclosure and approaching Moo Deng and her mother, Jona.
The footage has since been shared online across various platforms. In the footage, you can see the man wearing a black beanie, a green Tang top, and brown shorts. Additionally, he is filming the interaction on his iPad. Fortunately, he did not make any moves to physically touch the animals. Instead, he just approached them for a more close-up video and photoshoot.
After just a minute or two, staff at the zoo noticed the intruder. Surprisingly, the man did not flee after being noticed and later caught. The man was arrested and charged with trespassing. Additionally, NBC News shares that "the zoo intends to pursue all available legal action." However, the man was later released on bail.
