Truly a gun unto itself that incorporates integral designs in a bullpup frame. With settings for full auto, 3 round and single shot modes, with an integral bipod and short length, this is a rifle that has served French forces well throughout conflicts in Africa to Afghanistan.
While I am personally not a big fan of bullpup designs, finding it less functional to perform magazine changes, there is something to be said about the design of the FAMAS F1.
They must be doing something right because French Foreign Legionnaires, paratroopers, and light infantry have performed extremely well with it on the battlefield.
