Garmin Force Trolling Motor Wins Best in Show at ICAST 2019

Back-to-back Best in Show victories for Garmin conclude with their new trolling motor earning the title for the 2019 ICAST Show.

As the 2019 ICAST Show wound down, the announcement of the Best in Show product spotlight was easily one of the most anticipated moments. This year, Garmin took home the win with their new Force Trolling Motor.

The chart plotter and foot pedal connect to the trolling motor wirelessly, and the floating remote control lets anglers hold the reins for simple point-and-go gesture steering.

The Force motor includes integrated CHIRP and Ultra High-Definition ClearVü and SideVü scanning sonars, with imperceptible sonar noise interference.

Garmin calls it the "most powerful and most efficient trolling motor available.

Clocking in at $3,199.99, it's a game-changing opportunity for anglers to combine the hi-tech capabilities of Garmin USA with the convenience and utility of a trolling motor.

The competition for Garmin was as stiff as ever, with innovative products in virtually every category. Humminbird's 360 Mega Imaging and the Yakima TopWater Rooftop Fishing Rod Box put up a fight, winning their own respective categories and likely coming in close behind the eventual winner.

This is the second Best in Show win in a row for Garmin, after the Panoptix LiveScope won in 2018.
