Drury Outdoors Announces the Winner of Their Farm Giveaway!

The moment you've all been waiting for has arrived: Drury Outdoors just announced the winner of their 30th Anniversary Farm Giveaway at the 2020 ATA Show!

Mark and Terry Drury released their first turkey hunting video all the way back in 1989. They announced at the 2019 Archery Trade Association show that they were going to give a 60-acre farm in northern Missouri away to one lucky fan in order to celebrate three decades of hard work.

The Drury Outdoors 30th Anniversary celebration took place over the course of 2019 with monthly drawings for prizes donated by all sorts of big brands in the outdoor industry. The celebration has now culminated with the announcement of the lucky hunter who hit the jackpot by winning his very own deer hunting farm at the 2020 ATA Show.

Denny Lachcik from Jefferson City, Missouri got the surprise of his life when he was contacted by the folks at Drury Outdoors and told him that he won the grand prize and will be receiving title to his new 60-acre farm in Putnam County, Missouri!

Denny traditionally did the vast majority of his deer hunting on public land in Missouri. However, he and his kids will now get to hunt on their own parcel of private land that was hand selected by Terry and Mark Drury.

The Drurys also planted some food plots, installed gates, and are even providing him with the latest intel on how they recommend hunting the property in the future.

Heck, they even stocked the pond on the farm with bass, bluegill, and catfish!

In addition to receiving title to the farm, Reconyx is providing him with 6 trail cameras (along with memory cards and batteries) and Mossy Oak gave him a $1,000 gift card to their online store.

As a final cherry on top, Mark and Terry Drury presented Denny with a $25,000 check to cover all the taxes and fees associated with receiving the property. Congratulations, Denny!

While he won the grand prize, Denny was far from the only hunter to win something during the DOD 30th Anniversary Giveaway. Eleven other hunters won some awesome hunting gear over the course of 2019.

Butch Houston won the January prize pack of a set of Scent Crusher gear, Cole McCreary received two pallets of Ani-Logics supplements and minerals back in February, Kenneth Baker won a the March prize of a massive pack of BioLogic Seeds, Michael Kleidon received his very own RTP Ground-Breaker 3 in April, John Grohs won the Morrell Target lineup in May, Eric Spacek will be hunting in style while wearing the LaCrosse boots he won in June, Joshua Slatton hit the jackpot with his new Muddy Penthouse box blind this fall, Jeremy Eckenrode won the August prize of an autographed PSE Custom Stealth Carbon Air bow, Kirk McConnell received a Winchester XPR Rifle, a SXP 20 gauge shotgun, and $350 in store Credit for the Winchester Gear Shop in September, Kevin Lester won some excellent hunting apparel from Nomad as the October prize, and Jordan Johnson won a Traditions muzzleloader and some Leupold optics as the prize for the month of November.

Drury Outdoors launched DeerCast right before they kicked off their 30th Anniversary Celebration. This was the primary method that hunters used in order to sign up for the giveaway.

Even though the celebration is over, you can still use DeerCast as a great tool to help take your deer hunting game to the next level. They also made significant updates to DeerCast this year. DeerCast was a solid product when they first released it, but it's even better now. So, even if you don't win one of the many prizes they're giving away, DeerCast is still a great tool you can use to hopefully bag the buck of your dreams.

You can access DeerCast at DeerCast.com or download the DeerCast mobile app through the Apple App Store or Android's Google Play.
