DOD 30th Anniversary Giveaway November: Leupold Optics, a Traditions Muzzleloader, and More!

The DOD 30th Anniversary giveaway continues in November when another hunter will win some Leupold Optics, a Traditions muzzleloader, and some muzzleloader accessories.

Well, it's November now, which means that we're in peak season for whitetail deer hunting across most of the United States. This is the time period that many hunters dream about for the rest of the year.

Fortunately, Drury Outdoors is giving away yet another really awesome prize as part of the DOD 30th Anniversary Giveaway this month. The November prize pack is especially great: a pair of Leupold BX-4 Pro Guide Binoculars, a Leupold rangefinder, a Traditions muzzleloader, two packs of Traditions Smackdown Bleed bullets, and a Traditions muzzleloader cleaning kit.

Specifically, Traditions is giving away their Drury Package Vortek Strikerfire muzzleloader in Mossy Oak Breakup camouflage. The muzzleloader comes with a Leupold VX Freedom Scope, a gun case, and a sling.

Just as the name states, the Leupold Pro Guide binoculars are high-end optics specifically designed for hunters who need lightweight and durable binoculars with top of the line glass for extended glassing sessions, especially in low light conditions.

The Traditions Smackdown Bleed bullets included in the package are muzzleloader bullets for deer hunting. Fired using the Traditions Ridgeback sabot, those lightweight 170-grain bullets are specifically designed for high velocities, low recoil, a flat trajectory, and impressive wound channels upon impact.

Those bullets are also lead free, which means you can hunt with them in California.

Though that muzzleloader is nitride coated for corrosion resistance, muzzleloaders are still notoriously dirty and require diligent cleaning to keep them in good working order. So, it only makes sense for Traditions to include a gun cleaning kit in this giveaway and set up the winner for success.

Add it all up and this is an outstanding prize. The winner will have the perfect gear for muzzleloader season this fall and winter!

As we've seen over the course of 2019, along with Leupold and Traditions, many other big brands in the outdoor industry have partnered with Drury Outdoors to give away monthly prizes valued at over $33,000.

Nine hunters have already won some really cool hunting gear so far.

Butch Houston won a set of Scent Crusher gear when he won the January prize pack, Cole McCreary received two pallets of Ani-Logics supplements and minerals back in February, Kenneth Baker won a massive pack of BioLogic Seeds for the March prize pack, Michael Kleidon hit the jackpot with the RTP Ground-Breaker 3 in April, John Grohs won the Morrell Target lineup in May, Eric Spacek received some LaCrosse boots in June, Joshua Slatton will be hunting in style from his new Muddy Penthouse box blind this fall, Jeremy Eckenrode won an autographed PSE Custom Stealth Carbon Air bow as the August prize pack, and Kirk McConnell won a Winchester XPR Rifle, a SXP 20 gauge shotgun, and $350 in store Credit for the Winchester Gear Shop in September.

Once they conduct the drawing for the month of October, another fortunate hunter will be hunting in some great hunting apparel from Nomad!

Be on the lookout for the remaining monthly prize announcements for the rest of the year. The November prize is really awesome, and the December prizes will be even better!

Enter the contest through the DeerCast app or via their web site at DruryOutdoors.com/farm.

Individuals who sign up for the the grand prize of a 60-acre farm in northern Missouri (complete with pre-scouted stand locations and food plots) will also be automatically entered to win the monthly prizes. Winners of the monthly prizes will also still be eligible to win the grand prize as well as the other remaining monthly prizes during the Drury Outdoors 30 Year Anniversary giveaway.

You can access DeerCast at DeerCast.com or download the DeerCast mobile app through the Apple App Store or Android's Google Play.

By the way, Drury Outdoors has made significant updates to DeerCast this year. DeerCast was a solid product when they first released it, but it's even better now. So, even if you don't win one of the many prizes they're giving away, DeerCast is still a great tool you can use to hopefully bag the buck of your dreams this fall.

The Drurys make all their monthly winner announcements through DeerCast. Mark and Terry Drury will announce the name of the lucky individual who wins the grand prize at the 2020 Archery Trade Association Show.

Good luck!
