A cause of death was revealed for a popular travel YouTuber. Last month, YouTuber "Adam the Woo" passed away quite suddenly. The online influencer's body was found inside his Florida home.
Now, according to his father, Jim, in a Facebook post, the cause of death was determined. The travel YouTuber passed away from natural causes. Specifically, Adam the Woo, whose real name was David Adam Williams, died from a combination of atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease. The medical examiner also listed obesity as a contributing factor.
YouTuber Cause Of Death
Jim wrote, "Our beloved Son . . . your beloved friend . . . died, in essence, of a heart attack in his sleep from health issues he probably never knew he had."
Williams died on December 22, 2025 in Celebration, Florida. He was 51. A concerned friend visited his home to check on him. The friend found the YouTuber unresponsive and called the authorities. But Williams was already deceased upon their arrival. The cause of death won't bring back Williams, but it does provide closure to his family.
His father wrote, "Now, we can all stop guessing. Be grateful the Lord allowed him to die at home and not in a foreign country. Be grateful he was found by friends (as hard as that was) and not some nameless stranger."
The death of Adam the Woo came as a shock to his legion of fans. Williams built a following by filming places that struck chords with fans. He went off the beaten path, finding abandoned locations, movie filming sites, and places alongside roadside America. For viewers, Williams felt like a friend taking them along on a trip to a place they might not have seen otherwise.
Fittingly, his final upload focused on his own hometown, showing Celebration during the Christmas season. FOX 35 Orlando quoted one content creator, The Tim Tracker: "He really will live forever, because I will never forget him."
