Big Boar Responds to Electronic Call in a Mere 90 Seconds

Sometimes hogs will take their time investigating a hog call. Things can also happen really fast too, like this boar that comes in after just 90 seconds.

You never know how close a hog might be to your stand, so it's important be be ready to go when you turn that call on. The last thing you want is to be fiddling with your stuff and miss out on a hog that responds almost immediately.

On this particular hunt, Glenn and Michelle Guess were exploring a new hunting area in Texas. After finding a nice spot to set up, they turned on their call using some courting and breeding sounds.

Well, there must have been a big boar hanging out really close by because he responded to their call within 90 seconds.

Watch the video below to see how it all went down. Look and listen closely as the hog approaches: he was very excited and was audibly popping his jaws and saliva was pouring from his mouth.

That hog was coming in ready to fight, but Michelle was ready to go when the hog came in and she wasted no time getting on him.

He stopped and presented a good shot at approximately 20 yards, and Michelle drilled him with her 7mm Remington Magnum.

That was a really nice boar, but he sure didn't go very far after taking a hit like that! Nice work!
