This puts a whole new spin on 'escorted ride.'
Rhonda Miller had quite the surprise March 10 as she made her way along Highway 3 to her office in Edzo, North West Territories. What she saw in the distance, running full speed along the road's shoulder, was a majestic black wolf. She then realized there were in fact two.
Miller at first thought she had spotted a man. She then believed it could be a bear. But as she drove her vehicle closer, the reality that they were a pair of wolves - and pure black ones at that - finally hit home. What she captured on her cell phone is pretty incredible.
"So many men have asked, how fast were they going? Had I been a man I may have looked. I don't know. I think between 40 and 50 km/h... it was fast," she told CBC news.

Animals love to choose the path of least resistance, and in this case, bare pavement is preferred over deep snow. How long they continued on their 'jog' for is anyways guess, however.
Nature never fails to impress. And the cool thing is, you just never know when you'll have your own once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
Only thing that would have made this video all the more impressive is if Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like the Wolf' was pumping out from the truck's speakers. (It's a hit from 1982 for those that don't know.)
