If you are looking for help on what spring bass fishing baits to use, start here.
The water is going to warming up before you know it. Despite what all the ice fisherman want to hear, their days standing on hard water are numbered. Once that ice all melts, the bass fishing is going to start to heat up.
If you want to be able to capitalize on the opportunity that is spring bass fishing, make sure you have these five baits ready to go.
Once you break it all down, the list is pretty simple. Odds are good you probably already have a majority of those five spring bass fishing lures already in your tackle box. If not, a trip to the bait shop is in due order sooner rather than later.
When you get there, grab a few lipless cranks, square bill cranks, a few twitch/rip baits, perhaps an Alabama rig, and a big old nasty swim bait or two. For good measure, it's probably not a bad idea to make sure spinnerbaits are in good supply as well.
With those five or six baits covered in a variety of colors and sizes, any spring bass fishing situation would be easy to handle.
