This guy transforms an ordinary bolt from the hardware store into a work of art!
One of the great things about the internet is when people recycle and re-purpose things into something else entirely. We see this all the time in the world of knifemaking. It may be a niche hobby but the people who participate are good at what they do. They are able to visualize things where others see an everyday, normal object.
In this case, it's a simple bolt from the hardware store. One from those bulk trays that you probably pass by every time you visit.
We couldn't see this knife when he first plucked that bolt out of the bin. It was amazing to slowly start to see it come to life. The vision to know how to shape and tool the bolt into the smallest hunting knife we've ever seen is incredible. We are glad platforms like YouTube exist that give people a chance to showcase their talents to the world.
We've seen people make awesome knives and axes from old disk brakes and Jeep springs to just simple scrap metal. Who would've thought something so utilitarian in nature could become something so beautiful? It may be too small to be functional but this would make for an interesting conversation piece at any hunting camp. Especially if you made it yourself!
It takes some serious talent and skill to put something like this together. We can't wait to see what the talented knife-makers of the web come up with next!
