VIDEO: How to Make a DIY Bowfishing Rig From Clothes Hangers

Bowfishing doesn't have to be an expensive endeavor. In fact, with a little DIY (Do It Yourself) ingenuity and common item you may have the stuff laying around to get into the sport for less than $20.

Sometimes you have to look at videos and think, "These guys have WAY too much time on their hands to come up with this stuff." This is one of those videos, but it makes me want to get out the drill, some rubber bands and clothes hangers and give it a try.

I think the most impressive thing about this is that fact that he didn't get glue all over the table or drill a hole through it. It also makes me wonder what's in the drainage ditches around where I live.

These guys were shooting at close range, but it is fairly obvious that you can get some decent distance from the setup. Perhaps this isn't the rig you want to keep as your "go to" setup, but it would be fun to play with and even to keep as a backup for the bug-out boat.
