Video: Hunter Smokes a Monster Yukon Bull Moose On His Birthday

Your first Yukon bull moose is a present that you won't forget.

We can't think of a more special place to celebrate your birthday than in the Yukon. From the rugged mountains and extraordinary scenery that defines wilderness, this land is a true paradise for those fortunate to hunt here.

Doug Eberhardt was celebrating his special day with guide Dave Briard. A massive bull was spotted from more than half a mile away, and according to a Facebook post by Briard, Eberhardt knew he wanted it right away.

The bruiser bull was positioned at the edge of a lake, and as you're about to see in this video, Eberhardt smoked it with a heart and double lung shot from less than 50 yards away.

Talk about a true adventure and a trophy Yukon bull moose to be proud of.

And for those wondering (many comments were made to Briard's Facebook page when he posted the video), yes, it is legal to shoot a moose from a boat in the Yukon. The guide even replied to comments with this picture.

Congrats on your trophy bull, Doug, and happy belated birthday! This is an experience I'm sure the two of you won't forget anytime soon.
