Video: Gutsy Bobcat Takes a Sniff of Shocked Hunter's Shotgun

Who's braver, the bobcat or the hunter?

Sitting in the woods, whether on the ground or in a stand, gives those who hunt a rare glimpse into some seldom-seen wildlife behavior.

Keith Compton, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, was privy to an incredible, exhilarating interaction April 25.

Sitting on the ground with a shotgun in hand, Compton appears to be doing a bit of turkey hunting when suddenly an unexpected guest makes a surprise visit.

Talk about a tense encounter!

Although cute in appearance and weighing only 21 pounds on average, a bobcat is nothing to mess with. With razor-sharp, retractable claws, these animals are capable of doing a whole lot of damage in a hurry.

What would you have done in this situation? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
