A travel influencer certainly turned heads while backpacking down a mountain with his cats, King Louie and Todd. He took the two British Shorthairs on the ultimate adventure in his backpack.
In February, travel influencer Lazar Joksimovic went to the Austrian Alps with the cats.
"After they got acclimatized to the difference, to the altitude, I started taking them on gondolas and chairlifts at a lower elevation," he shares. "When they got used to that, we started going to higher elevations. I first skied with them down the mountain with them inside the backpack, and they were very curiously looking around."
He allowed the cats to get used to the slopes.

"The first four or five rounds we did with them inside the backpack, so they got used to all the sounds of skiers and snowboarders and different gondola and chairlift sounds," he explained. He then "put them on top of the backpack, which is their preferred spot anyway."
Despite the freezing cold and the strange new environment, the cats enjoyed their time on the mountain. They ended up turning more than a few heads during the trip.
"Louie was curious about the sights and sounds. We would ski for three hours each day, and then have lunch, enjoy the nice views and then I'd drop them off so I can ski a few runs on my own or hand them over to my dad, and he would ski with them inside his backpack," Joksimovic shares.
"A lot of them would just stop on the side of the slopes to take videos or pictures and make room for the cats to ski down without any other skiers coming too close to them," he shared.
It's just the latest adventure the influencer took the animals on.
