Sydnie Wells gets in close on a big bear, and she better hit her mark.
You know that saying that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"? Well, it fits the mold here. Tim Wells, the seasoned bowhunter on Relentless Pursuit, lets his daughter Sydnie go after her first bear on spring break, and she makes her daddy proud.
After spotting the bear from the road, they make their move and try to get close. With the bear always finding its way downwind of them, they finally maneuver to a spot where Sydnie can get within range. Up close, Sydnie must make the shot, or else things could get interesting.
Like father like daughter, she puts the arrow right in the pumping station, and the bear runs for the hills. Rain begins to set in, making the blood trailing a bit difficult, but they hear the death moan of the bear.
The stick and string had done it again for the Wells family, and they find her first bear.
Once again, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
