The Armed Citizen Series: Set up Your AR-15 Two-Point Sling Right to Start Training

This shows how to efficiently set up your AR-15 two-point sling and gain the advantages of having it adjustable on your body for tactical use.

In this instalment of the Armed Citizen Series, we again move away from pistol drills and go to America's favorite black rifle, the AR-15.

Kyle Lamb and Viking Tactics shows how to properly install and use your AR-15 two-point sling to have a wide range of movement for shooting; but also be able to secure the long gun to your body to have hands free for other tasks when out of the direct fight.

Tactical special operations and police units pretty much all used to be kitted out with one point slings, but as Kyle Lamb highlights, when the gun was hanging or when transitioning to your pistol, that rifle would swing awkwardly off the front of your body, putting you off-balance or getting in the way of other tasks.

If you own an AR-15, do yourself a favour, get a good quality two-point sling and start training with it on the range.
