This is a court ruling we can celebrate.
In April 2015, Dr. Kristen Lindsey, posted a Facebook photo of her holding an orange domestic cat with an arrow through his head. In the caption, the Washington Animal Clinic vet bragged:
"My first bow kill LOL. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through its head! Vet of the year award ... gladly accepted."

The post quickly went viral with enraged animal rights activists calling for Lindsey's veterinary license to be revoked. She was promptly terminated from her position at the Texas clinic, where she worked for two years after graduating from Colorado State.
Fast forward a few years to this month. It's a good day for animal lovers everywhere. The case of Dr. Kristen Lindsey has made its final stop in court.
"Following a Texas Supreme Court decision last week reaffirming punishment imposed by the state professional licensing board, Lindsey's longtime attorney Bill Bishop said Monday that the embattled veterinarian does not intend to appeal her case to the U.S. Supreme Court."
Criminal charges weren't filed but authorities found she had violated the Texas Veterinary Medical Licensing Act.
The VIN News Service was unable to determine whether Lindsey is in active practice. VIN reports,
"Records show that her Texas license is on "probated suspension," which means she can practice veterinary medicine in the state on condition that she complete courses on animal cruelty and spend at least 100 hours volunteering at a feline rescue or similar facility."
We cannot imagine she's practicing anywhere. Who would hire her?
Her post went viral on social media and the outrage by animal lovers everywhere was off the charts.
