Telling the Hunting Story Might Just Save It

WATCH THE VIDEO

The CEO of the Outdoor Sportsman Group intends on telling the amazing story of hunting in a way that helps preserve its tradition.

When there's a good story to tell, no one's going to be able to stop paying attention. That's what Jim Liberatore, CEO of Outdoor Sportsman Group, is banking on.

We sat down with Liberatore at the 2019 SHOT Show for an in-depth conversation, asking him all kinds of questions about bow OSG goes about business, where they rank among niche content producers, and what the story of hunting can do to help recruit those who care about it.

It was that last question that produced some of the well thought out responses we shared in the video above. What he's saying should be taken to heart, because he's right.

If we sit back and expect hunting to be completely preserved without sharing the important anecdotes and info that makes it great, we're in for a rough future.

Listen as Liberatore discusses what he and OSG are intending on doing to be meaningful storytellers.
