subsonic .22 LR. bullet VS. a 400 pound aggressive wild hog

Subsonic .22 LR Bullet vs. 400-Pound, Aggressive Wild Hog

It's just a .22, right?

Well, that little subsonic .22 bullet just did a number on this giant wild boar.

YouTuber Jim Thomas showed quite impressive marksmanship when he gunned down an aggressive 400-pound wild hog.

Did the shooter use a heavy caliber like a .45-70? No, he actually used a suppressed Ruger 10/22 rifle with subsonic ammunition. That little, under-powered bullet was lethal in one place—right through the eye.

Accuracy the most important factor in any hunting rifle. With a great shot, a small calibers can still be effective. A large-caliber paired with a bad hit won't make up for poor accuracy. Always practice your marksmanship skills.
