Steve Irwin's family is reflecting back on his life and legacy. The Crocodile Hunter would have been 64 years old. Irwin's birthday was on February 22.
It was obviously an emotional day as the Irwin family and friends reflected on Steve Irwin all these years after his lost. Bindi Irwin shared several photos of herself with her family. She wrote in her caption, "Happy Birthday, Dad. We miss you so much."
"Love you. Forever.??," Bindi, 27, concluded.
Her mom, Terri Irwin, also commented on the post, "Your dad loved you so much, and was a proud girl dad!"
Meanwhile, her brother, Robert, shared his own memorial to his late father.
Steve Irwin Remembered
"Would have been your birthday today. Love you, miss you," he wrote. "Thank you for being a guiding light and inspiration every day. ??."
Terri also wrote in the comments, "Your dad loved you so very much." Additionally, Robert's Dancing with the Stars dance partner Witney Carson sent love and support his way as well. She wrote, "Love you so much! I know he's so proud of you."
Another wrote, "So much of what we loved about your father lives on in you. I've no doubt that he is incredibly proud of the man you've become! You're a wonderful role model!"
Finally, Terri remembered Steve Irwin in her own Instagram post.
"Today would have been Steve's 64th birthday," she said. "Remembering all the love, laughter, and wonderful adventures. May we all stand together to continue Steve's important conservation work, and honor his legacy by protecting our precious wildlife."
Steve Irwin died on September 4, 2006. He passed away after being injured by a stingray while filming in the Great Barrier Reef.
