MTN DEW is giving away a plethora of fishing prizes just in time for spring.
We don't know about you, but we can feel it. Spring is in the air and it's time to start heading to our favorite fishing spots to wet a line for the first time this year. In a pleasant surprise, MTN DEW is launching a new promotional campaign to go along with the season that includes a ton of great fishing prizes.
MTN DEW's new "Hook the Big One Golden Can Game" seems to channel the Willy Wonka concept by hiding 50 golden fishing cans in MTN DEW 12 packs with a special outdoor theme. These special 12 packs are already in select stores in the Northeast and Midwest parts of the U.S.
The top prize is something any angler can appreciate. A 2021 Phoenix Bass Boat 818 Pro. They are awarding 10 of these grand prizes. The boats are rigged up with Lowrance electronics and are worth about $40,000 each. Additionally, these winners will have the chance to take part in a virtual meet and greet with pro angler Gerald Swindle. A great opportunity to get some tips for using your new boat!
There will also be 40 first prize packages up for grabs. These packages also include a meet and greet with Swindle. They also include MTN DEW branded sweatshirts, long-sleeve Tees, fishing sunglasses, an ORCA cooler, a new Shimano spinning rod and reel. Sounds like a great thing to kick off our spring fishing adventures with!
DEW Lost Lure Insurance.
The new MTN DEW fishing promotion also includes a fun hashtag game that is meant to help offset the expensive costs of fishing gear. We have all felt that sting when visiting our local sporting goods store. From now until March 18, MTN DEW will be holding the "Lost Lure Insurance" sweepstakes on Twitter.
Entering is simple. Just tweet out a photo of your favorite fishing lure while tagging @MountainDew and using the hashtag #DEWLostLureSweepstakes. Winners will be selected to receive a $25 DICK's Sporting Goods gift card.
Upon entry, MTN DEW will share a link to upload info via direct message for your chance to win. Make sure your account is open to direct messages and that photos are uploaded during the sweepstakes period. MTN DEW will select 100 winners per day for 10 days to win the sweepstakes.
MTN DEW has done a few outdoor-related promotions the last few years and all have proven to be exceedingly popular.
