Monster Northern Pike Comes Out of the Ice in South Dakota

Jerron Haider probably didn't see this one coming.

When the young man from Redfield put his line in the water near Pollock, he likely didn't expect to catch a pike as big as his ice auger!

Get ready to feast your eyes on a once-in-a-lifetime fish!

OK, ready? This fish was 30.08 pounds and 47 inches! I'll bet Haider had absolutely no problem holding that fish up in the air with all that adrenaline coursing through his veins.

He even posed for the obligatory "toothy grin" photo:

Cheers to Jerron and his famous pike! Here's hoping that old fish is dressing a beautiful spot on his wall somewhere!
