Michelle Guess Takes Down 2 Big Hogs Using a Thermal Sight

In addtion to calling hogs, Glenn and Michelle Guess have been known to do a little hog hunting at night with thermal scopes. Check out how this hunt goes.

Glenn and Michelle Guess have tried all sorts of hog hunting tactics over the years. While they're probably best known for hog calling, they've also done quite a bit of hog hunting at night with thermal sights.

That sort of hunting require some pretty expensive equipment, but night thermal hunts can be a really effective way to get the drop on some unsuspecting hogs. In fact, that might be the most effective way to get a crack at some heavily hunted and/or call shy feral hogs.

In this particular video, Glenn and Michelle were hunting some agricultural land at night in response to a plea for help from the landowner.

Watch the video below to see how it all goes down!

Michelle was using an AR-15 chambered in 6.8 SPC. Designed to improve upon the performance of the .223 Remington/5.56 NATO cartridge while still functioning in a standard AR-15, the 6.8 SPC hits pretty hard and provided very impressive results on a couple of really nice looking boars.

Of course, Michelle Guess is also a pretty darn good shot and has a lot of practice putting those bullets where they need to go while she's hunting.

That's an absolutely deadly combination for the hogs!
