Luke Bryan Releases Bill Dance Tribute Music Video on Angler's 81st Birthday

Luke Bryan gives Bill Dance one heck of an 81st birthday present.

It is safe to say Bill Dance is in the conversation for the greatest bass anglers ever. Perhaps one of the best fishermen period regardless of style. The man dominated the professional bass fishing world from 1967-1980 before retiring early at just 39 years of age.

From there, the three-time B.A.S.S. angler of the year inspired a whole new generation of anglers to hit the water with his fishing show. One of those young anglers Dance inspired was country music superstar Luke Bryan.

Bryan is an avid lover of the outdoors and regularly writes songs about it. In this case, he has written an entire song dedicated to the fishing legend. He even filmed the music video with Dance and has now released it to the world on Dance's 81st birthday. Keep an eye out for a few other famous outdoor names in Kevin VanDam and Johnny Morris in this video too. It looks like they had a ton of fun making this.

This song is included in Bryan's new album "Born Here Live Here Die Here" which released back in April. However, the music video was just released today. On his social media channels, Bryan thanked Dance for being apart of the video.

"Thank you Bill Dance for allowing us to create such a special video that me and my boys will never forget. Also, Happy Birthday buddy!" Bryan wrote on his Facebook.

Not many are fortunate enough to get a whole song and music video dedicated to them. However, if anyone is worthy of such an honor, it is definitely Dance. This guy has taught us so much about fishing over the years. He has also given us plenty of belly laughs from his blooper reels. We hope they release an outtake video from the filming of this music video. It looks like they all had a great time making it.

Thanks to Bryan for the touching tribute to one of the greatest anglers ever, and happy birthday Bill Dance! Hope you have a good one!
