A tarpon of this size could easily have caused this kayaker serious harm. Lucky for them, the fish just misses them by inches. Regardless of the close call, this is exactly what kayak fishermen live for!

This is a little too close for comfort if you ask me. But then again, you don't paddle all the way out there and in a kayak to be comfortable. It's all about the adrenaline rush you get when you hook a fish and it takes off like torpedo. Needless to say, this kayak fisherman went home satisfied.
