FTR1200 From Indian Motorcycles Set to Hit the Streets

Iconic motorcycle brand Indian Motorcycles has confirmed the FTR1200 Tracker will go into production in 2019.

Announced at the Wheels and Waves event in Biarritz, France, the motorcycle maker confirmed an all-new model based on the FTR1200 Custom after a private showing by a group of industry VIPs. First introduced at the EICMA show in Nov. 2017, it comes on the heels of its flagship flat track racer, the FTR750.

"We wanted to make sure that the FTR 1200 wasn't merely a regurgitation of the FTR 1200 Custom, but something uniquely 'street,' albeit flat track inspired," said senior designer, Rich Christoph. "We're thrilled about the unique character this bike possesses, and its ability to take American V-twin motorcycles into brand new territory."
