Here's Michigan's Early Antlerless Deer Season Explained Quickly and Easily

Antlerless season will be here before you know it.

We know that it is still August. But deer season will be here before you know it. And in Michigan, now is the time to apply for an antlerless permit.

The Michigan DNR put out this video to explain quickly and plainly this year's early antlerless season.

Early antlerless runs on September 16 and 17 in select deer management units. So if you ran out of venison last year, this is your earliest chance to fill the freezer back up. You have through August 15 to purchase an application for a permit, so don't procrastinate!

See the Michigan DNR website for more info on deer seasons.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready to hit the woods. Hurry up fall!
