Would You Get This Close to a Bull Moose in the Rut for a Photo?

This huge rutting bull moose was trying to chase off some rivals, but had to get by all these people first.

This is some great footage of an extremely large, rutting bull moose that was in the process of showing some younger bulls who the boss really is.

The only thing more stunning than the image of that big bull is the fact that so many people got so close to it while it was walking by.

We love great videos like this, but it's not worth getting trampled over.

We're not certain where this video was taken, but you can see multiple cars with Alaska license plates.

Any animal in the throes of its breeding season can be dangerous whether it's a bison, a whitetail deer or a moose.

Just standing close to your vehicle isn't enough to keep you safe. Even an animal of that magnitude can change direction and be on top of you in a heartbeat.
