The West Indian Manatee is the last animal you would expect to have serious upper body strength. However, the one in this video just blew that misconception right out of the water, literally!

This epic video was captured by a member of the Zoological Society of Trinidad and Tobago Inc. during a visit to Guyana Zoological Park. The manatee in the video is known for raising itself from the water to eat the surrounding vegetation.
West Indian Manatees can grow up to 13 ft long and weigh over 3,500 pounds. If you ask me, that is ton of weight to be trying to lift with just two short flippers!
