Female Good Samaritan with Gun Saves North Georgia Deputy From Attacker

Thank goodness this good Samaritan decided to act.

In shocking news coming out of North Georgia, a good Samaritan saved the day when she saw a deputy sheriff being assaulted by an unnamed suspect.

Per the reportDeputy Sgt. Randy Harkness, a 24-year veteran of the department, gave a courtesy ride to a gas station. Next, Harkness was trying to give the man money when he assaulted the deputy with his fists, and possibly an object.

It was at that moment a female saw what was happening, stopped her car outside of the gas station, and shot the man in question. He then fled on foot to a nearby McDonald's, assaulted a female inside, and was then held down by other bystanders inside the restaurant until authorities arrived.

It was also reported that the suspect was shot at least one time but will survive. The woman who shot him was taken to the hospital for his injuries, but will recover. It was unknown if someone else inside the McDonald's may have also shot the man as well.

This is just another example of what happens when the public decides they are ready to stop a bad guy. Good on her for being there and deciding to act.
