Shed Hunter Finds Enormous Deer Head in Pennsylvania

This once-in-a-lifetime whitetail buck is dropping jaws.

Shed hunting has become extremely popular, and if you've tried it, you know how addicting it can be. You're familiar with that feeling you get when you see tines shining in the woods. You're suddenly overcome with joy and your heart starts beating faster and faster. It's what keeps shed hunters coming back to the woods time and time again.

However, something you don't like to find on shed hunts are those dead heads, or dead bucks for those who don't know the shed hunter lingo. Sure, it's nice to find, but it means you won't be able to hunt that buck anymore.

Well, Ryan McCarthy found one of the most incredible dead heads we've seen this year on some public ground in Pennsylvania. This 219 5/8-inch giant of a buck would make anyone's emotions go through the roof.

This is an absolute monster buck, especially for Pennsylvania. And of course, many rumors and accusations have already started flying, claiming the deer was a high-fence find. We don't know whether or not that's the case at this time.

However, you never want to discount an incredible animal like this, as it may have been a true-blue, public-land giant.
