DUX and Texas Motor Speedway

Ducks Unlimited Partners With Texas Motor Speedway to Host Expo

Ducks Unlimited's inaugural expo is set for April 17-19.

SHOT Show 2019 was the platform for many big announcements, per usual, and one of those came from the king of waterfowl and wetlands conservation.

Ducks Unlimited decided to take a "go big or go home" approach to planning the inaugural Ducks Unlimited Expo (DUX) when it decided to partner with Texas Motor Speedway.

Texas Motor Speedway is one of the largest venues in the entire state, which DUX plans to use to create a the ultimate experience for outdoorsmen and women.

"DUX is a three-day, family-friendly, hands-on consumer show consisting of 13 interactive villages where you can see, try and buy the latest in outdoor products, talk with industry experts and experience everything in the great outdoors," said Dana Barton, Ducks Unlimited director of national events, in a press release. "The Ducks Unlimited Expo will also feature exhibitions, educational seminars and demonstrations. It's the ultimate playground for all outdoor enthusiasts."

Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage saw DUX as a natural fit to partner with since they share a lot of the same audience. He also saw the venue as the perfect place for the waterfowl conservation group to get the most out of its event.

"Sometimes a partnership just makes sense, and given the crossover in supporters here, this is certainly one of those times," he said. "The 1,500 acres at Texas Motor Speedway make for an ideal location for Ducks Unlimited to host this massive, first-of-its-kind event, giving them space to really showcase all the things that make them special. When we say 'No Limits, Texas,' we want our fans to know that means in all aspects of business, and we can't wait to continue sharing their message of conservation with our combined fanbases."

DUX will offer attendees plenty of outdoor adventures to enjoy, including camping, biking, archery, fishing, boating, golf, off-roading, shooting, ranching and checking out a wide variety of different exhibitors.

Daily admission is $10 for anyone over the age of 12.

"With more than 78,000 DU members and 10,000 DU volunteers across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, Ducks Unlimited and the Texas Motor Speedway have a unique position to leverage a wide variety of contacts to energize and support this event," said Ducks Unlimited President Rogers Hoyt Jr. "This new, one-of-a-kind outdoor expo will offer something for every type of outdoor enthusiast in a fun, family-friendly setting and I'm proud we are hosting the inaugural event in my home state of Texas."
