This Trad Archery Hog Hunt In The Swamp Got Pretty Exciting

Do You Have What It Takes for a Trad Archery Hog Hunt in the Swamp?

This sort of hunting is not for the faint of heart!

A traditional archery hog hunt in the swamps of southwest Arkansas is not for everyone. It can get exciting pretty fast on a hunt where it's necessary to wade through waist-deep water while staying on the lookout for poisonous snakes and alligators. And, taking a close-range shot on an angry hog without hitting the dogs is intense.

However, Bear Hunting Magazine Editor Clay Newcomb was up to the challenge in Part 2 of his Arkansas traditional archery hog hunt (you can see Part 1 here).

Was that a wild hunt or what?

Seven hogs in 24 hours is a pretty successful hunt by any measure. That looks like a great way to spend some time afield and keep your hunting skills sharp after deer season ends, but before the spring bear and turkey seasons kick off.
