According to local law enforcement, the individual went missing "in the hotel corridor just inside the resort's gates." An active law enforcement alert was shared on X, sharing an address on Via Encinas that was tied to the endangered missing person case.
Disning Dining shared that the location encompasses three hotels in the area: Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Bonnet Creek Resort, and Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. Additionally, according to the outlet, although the three resorts are all near Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, none of the mentioned properties belong to Disney. Furthermore, the exact location where this endangered missing person went missing has not been identified.
Walt Disney World has not publicly addressed the situation, and it is clearly unknown if the individual has been found.
So Far Everything Is Operating Normally
Despite dealing with an endangered missing person case, it appears that Disney World is operating normally. The outlet shared that none of the theme park hours have been affected. Magick Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs are all operating at normal hours without disruption. However, law enforcement is still monitoring the situation and looking for the missing individual.
Additionally, they promised to release updates with any new or relevant information. Any guests who come into contact with the law enforcement officers during their stay are encouraged to follow their requests. Otherwise, people are encouraged to enjoy their vacations as usual.
