Who doesn't want a custom home log cabin in the mountains they can call their own? Well, there is one amazing log home on the market right now outside of Denver, Colorado in the Rocky Mountains. This piece of real estate is one you must see to believe.

This custom log home tapes out to a little over 5,700 square feet and has five bathrooms and four bedrooms. The Denver Post reports this is a real log home with the timbers coming from nearby Steamboat Springs.

This turn-key home features high timber frame ceilings and an open floor plan, this place would be the dream home for retirement or just as a getaway. We'll let the pictures speak for themselves here.

The Denver Post says the owners are considering throwing in all the furnishings to go with it. That includes all those awesome pieces of taxidermy you're seeing in these photos.

The home sits on approximately seven acres of land. That includes a man-made lake that sits out front for a beautiful view on a frosty Colorado mountain morning. The lake is stocked with trout, so you never have to wander far to get your angling fix. Above the lake is a 750-foot long zipline for the kids to enjoy. Also included on the ground are a playhouse with electricity and a playground.

Besides the handcrafted log home, the property also features a large garage and shop to hold all your hunting equipment, toys and other outdoor gear.

This is one of the most beautiful and well-laid out log home plans we've seen in a while. The listing for this mountain home says it is only about a 35-minute drive to Denver and a 45-minute drive to Breckenridge.

In case you were wondering, you're going to have to open your wallet. To the tune of $2.5 million to own this little slice of heaven. We might have to stick to something more in our budget. Still, we can still dream can't we?
