Camper Barely Avoids Getting Hit by Large Boulder

If you set up your campsite at the base of a rockslide area, you might end up like this guy.

It's not certain, but these guys may have set up their camp in the worst possible spot: a moraine wall somewhere near a glacier. At the very least, any type of shale slide area has to be a no-no for a campsite.

While any type of tent camping has its issues—even safety issues—placement of your site needs to be thought of ahead of time to ensure that safety. Perhaps they had no choice, but on a second look, you may want to float your tent on the water!

This fellow is lucky that he was paying attention when the huge boulder came by him at top velocity. Wait until you see this:

WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE

How on earth did that huge rock not destroy the tents? How on earth did it not destroy that man? Luck was surely on his side that day!

There are four or more people that can be seen in the video and multiple tents. For such a large amount of people and gear, surely they had to know they were in a bad location?

Luckily it seems as though no one was hurt. Have you ever been this close to a falling rock zone?
