Accessories for 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unveiled at SEMA

Because who wants to drive around in a stock Jeep Wrangler?

Jeep says that 98 percent of Wrangler buyers add at least one Mopar accessory to their Wrangler, so it isn't surprising that the automaker has unveiled some of the accessories it will offer on the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler before the vehicle itself has even made its official debut.

While a handful of parts and accessories from Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts were introduced at SEMA, Jeep says that this is only a sneak peak of what it will provide its customers.

Taking a page right from the numerous aftermarket companies that made a killing off the JK Wrangler, Jeep will offer more than 200 various parts and accessories ranging from styling add-ons to off-road goodies.

Best of all, these products will be available right out of the gate, so buyers won't have to wait to get their Jeeps customized.

Some of the cooler parts that were launched at SEMA include a first-ever Mopar roof rack, fold-out tailgate table, mesh and solid bikini tops, screen protectors for the infotainment display, and RV towing wire harness (for when the Wrangler gets flat towed behind an RV).

Jeep will also offer enthusiasts rock rails, a Warn winch, beadlock-capable 17-inch wheels and LED off-road lights - measuring five and seven inches - with a "military-grade" 8,000-lumen output.

Early last week, Jeep released its first official images of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler as well as a brief press release. The new Wrangler will debut at the 2017 L.A. Auto Show on November 29.
