If you are not a big fan of hunting from a blind, then you will definitely be a big fan of the new Long Spur turkey vest from Alps Outdoors that was released in conjunction with the National Wild Turkey Federation this past week. The vest looks quite amazing for the turkey hunter who prefers a little more run-and-gun than just sitting and waiting.
The vest looks quite well made, has enough of the "right" pockets for most any turkey hunter, and seems to be open enough to allow you to actually be on the go, chasing longbeards without ending up completely drenched in sweat.
