25 Children Trapped By a Bear in Remote Siberian Summer Camp, Officials Unsure What to Do

Whatever they may say, don't feed the bears at summer camp.

In a wild story hailing from Siberia, a group of adult supervisors and 25 children they are responsible for, are all trapped by a brown bear.

In still unfolding reports, in the beginning of spring, they all started feeding the bear. Now, at the end of summer, the bear has become aggressive and won't let them leave their cabins without feeding it first.

"At first the children and their supervisors lured a 'teenage' bear, and now, when he's grown up really fast and become arrogant, they don't know what to do," said the report

At this point, the campers are bribing the bear with food to keep it occupied. This way, they can at least still make their way around their camp. However, the bear has now become too aggressive and the supervisors are afraid the bear will begin attacking the children. There has already been evidence for these fears as an empty sleeping bag was shredded and claw marks have begun appearing on the windows and doors.

As of the writing of this article, Siberian authorities are on a mission. The plan is to go to the remote summer camp and tranquilize the bear. From there, they will move it to a more safe location. However, unbelievably, there are some in the area highly against this safety measure. They fear that the authorities are just going to hurt the bear. Currently, protests are taking place to encourage a more humane way of dealing with the bear.
