2018 Jeep Wrangler: Our Favorite Hits About the Interior

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler has a fresh interior and we (Oprah voice) like it! From switches to infotainment, we talk about a few of our favorite things.

The brand new 2018 Jeep Wrangler has been killing it this year in terms of sales. This past spring the brand posted some of its biggest numbers in company history for the model, even nearly outdoing Toyota. That's insane.

A Jeep Wrangler has always been super sexy to look at and has always set a standard for off-road SUV's. But the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is stepping up its interior with a bold new look. Jeep never really took giant leaps when it came to the interior, almost like it depended on a slower progression. Now, the newer interior is a fresh and bold take on what it means to sit inside a Wrangler. Here are some things we really, really like about the 2018 Jeep Wrangler interior.

Dash of Awesome

Its new display system is nestled between the gauges, much like other Fiat Chrysler models. The company's UConnect system, an infotainment machine, comes complete with some pretty slick switches beneath it including heated seat and heated steering wheel, which are amazing during the colder months. The new display option altogether is pretty handy, but may possibly upset Wrangler purists. The new take is helpful, but it may give off a Cherokee vibe to it. Have faith, Wrangler fans.

The Color

The new interior of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler also features some splashes of color and accent colors not seen previously. Gone are the days of militaristic monotony and here are the days of reds and silvers. It's a small, but slick addition to the Wrangler mold.

Buttons, Switches, Dials

The headlight switch is now on the dash instead of on the stalk and the 2018 Jeep Wrangler boasts a dual-zone climate control. We're fans to say the least. Surrounding the switches below the infotainment system are a plethora of ports meant to charge multiple devices, which will be handy when you're out on the trails and need to keep a backup phone charged up. There's even an SD card slot, much like the 2014 Jeep accessory overhaul.
