Video: Washington Fish and Wildlife Officers Work to Free a Bull Moose from a Swing

They dubbed it “Operation D-Tangle Swingset Moose.”

We’ve already seen a number of fun deer-rescue videos this fall and the early part of winter. But we don’t often see a moose-rescue video, especially one like this.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife received a call about a moose tangled up in a swing and responded to save the day. And fortunately for us, they documented the whole thing for the world to see!

Usually you don’t get to see a video of one of these sedate-and-rescue operations. Authorities often have their hands too full to document things. One thing was for sure, though. There was no way they could’ve gotten this bull free while he was still awake.

Nice work with the moose rescue, officers! And thanks for sharing this video with the world!
