Here's What Your Zodiac Sign Says About the Type of Hunter You Are

Some say your Zodiac sign can say a lot about the type of person you are. How does that translate to the type of hunter you are?

You may think you know what type of hunter you are... but what does your Zodiac sign say about your hunting personality?

Do you prefer to hunt alone, or are you more of a team player when it comes to hunting? Can people trust you? Can you trust others? Are you the kind of person who makes the plans, or the kind who follows them?

Of course, it's all in fun. Astrologers probably never have hunters in mind when coming up with horoscopes. They always seem to focus on things like soul mates and your love life. But you will be surprised at how accurate this can be when it comes to your hunting personality. Find your Zodiac sign below and see just how close it really is.

Remember, be honest with yourself.

1. Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarius hunters are clever and witty. They often like to hunt alone; however, they love when everyone gets together to hunt. Usually, an Aquarius hunter is the type of person concerned with the well-being of others. They will help every hunter in the group before him or herself. They do, however, disagree with some of the rules and laws, but that doesn't mean they won't abide by them. Though they can have temperamental vibes at times, overall, they just like to have a good time hunting.

2. Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Pisces are very compassionate hunters. They put everyone before themselves and ensure success for the group before thinking of their own success. When a "know-it-all" hunter is around, it can really upset a Pisces hunter, because for them, hunting is about fun. Pisces hunters do like hunting alone. Even more than hunting, they like to sleep. This can ruin a hunt from time to time if the hunter is caught sleeping while hunting. A Pisces hunter can adapt quickly and is willing to take advice from others.

3. Aries (March 21 - April 19)

An Aries star sign hunter is extremely confident and courageous, willing to travel further, hike farther and push the limits to ensure success. Aries are among the most determined hunters, but they can also be very impatient. When there isn't much activity going on, they want to get up and go find it. They can be impulsive at times, and even a little too aggressive, but their leadership will usually guide a group of hunters in the right direction. Aries hunters are not afraid to fail and will stop at nothing to succeed every hunting season.

4. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

You can trust this hunter with anything. A Taurus hunter is very reliable and can lead you through nature never touched before by man. A Taurus hunter is a driven leader who also fears change. If you are trying to increase Quality Deer Management in your area, a Taurus might be on board, but ultimately, he or she doesn't feel as strongly about it as you do. A Taurus hunter likes high-end hunting gear and will spend a good amount of their money on quality gear. They are realists, however, and enjoy the company of hunting in groups.

5. Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

A Gemini hunter ultimately uses his or her curiosity to increase success. With a strong desire to learn and understand the way of the woods as much as possible, a Gemini hunter learns very quickly and can adapt to many situations. A Gemini prefers to hunt in groups over hunting alone. These hunters often find themselves enjoying group-oriented hunting, like deer drives or waterfowl hunting, rather than treestand hunting. They may own a wide selection of hunting magazines. When there's a hunting decision on the table, they may stay on the sidelines and let others decide.

6. Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

A Cancer hunter is the type of person you can trust with knowing your secret spot. They are extremely loyal and love spending time hunting in groups. When it comes time for cooking wild game, they enjoy the company just as much as the meal. Very caring in nature, some Cancer hunters take a little longer to get used to the killing aspect of hunting. Hunters with this astrological sign love to think of new hunting product designs. They have several DIY tools they made for themselves and often use them in the field.

7. Leo (July 23 - August 22)

A Leo hunter is a creative one who enjoys stepping outside of the box to be successful in the field. Leos are always eager and excited to get out and hunt as is the nature of this fire sign. Leo means lion, so they are natural-born hunters: strategic, methodical, and on a mission to harvest the game animal at all costs. Leos will sometimes become too aggressive in the field and find themselves "in too deep." This will upset a Leo hunter, but it won't slow them down. They like to lead hunting groups and strategies, and find it hard sometimes to listen to others who try to lead. They are very compassionate and cheerful when it comes to others, even though they may not show it on the surface.

8. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

A Virgo hunter is all work and no play. They set aside their vacation every year for hunting and know that time is limited. Sure, this sun sign enjoys celebrating a successful hunt, but until then, they are determined. A Virgo hunter is loyal, someone you can trust with your most secret spots. They will spend hours analyzing maps, game trails, trail camera photos and anything that will help him or her get ahead of their prey. They don't like asking for help when it comes to hunting and they don't like hunters who are rude. These type of hunters will often stick up for other hunters on social media and ensure the message of hunting stays true to its origins. It's fitting their birthday often falls under a "hunter's moon."

9. Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Libras skip the cake on their birthday and head to the field to do some hunting. It's not that they don't love celebrating their birthday, it's just that they would rather spend it outdoors. When getting gifts for their birthday, they usually get something hunting related and don't mind sharing it with their hunting buddies. They are very cooperative when it comes to hunting plans, including practicing Quality Deer Management. Overall, a Libra is a happy hunter who just enjoys being outside.

10. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

A Scorpio hunter seems to have all the tools of the trade. They are very resourceful, whether it's about having the right physical tools, or having the connections to hunt private property. They are loyal hunting buddies and would rather hunt with their longtime friends than a new group of people. A Scorpio hunter is constantly checking the weather and tries to predict the best location based on previous hunting experience. Scorpios can often times be jealous in nature and aren't the happiest when someone else succeeds and they don't.

11. Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

A Sagittarius hunter is like a hunting club's good luck charm. Sagittarius hunters enjoy hunting alone, mostly, and love their independence. This doesn't mean they don't enjoy hunting with their hunting buddies, but when together and in the woods, they often like to think for themselves and formulate their own plan. They are often very impatient, and that can affect them during hunting season. They have no problem telling others how they feel about anything that relates to hunting. They dislike off-the-wall strategies and will let you know it. The Sagittarius hunter embodies loyalty, trust and a great sense of humor. They're always looking to have a good time, but not until after the work is done.

12. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

Capricorn hunters love tradition. They enjoy the true roots of hunting and ensuring that the tradition is here for the next generations to come. They have a lot of self-control and discipline, and they're good at organizing trips or events for his or her hunting group. They are among the most responsible hunters in the field and will always follow the rules of the hunt. You will seldom find them late and often find them managing their time down to a science. These hunters know themselves and those around them.
