Smoked salmon has always tasted good, and always will.

There’s nothing better than smoking up some Great Lakes salmon. Smoking, especially fish, is one of the best and most flavorful ways to cook. In fact, this cooking style is so great, it has changed very little over time.

Hands down, this is one of the most rewarding methods of cooking wild game and fish. It’s so simple to get started, too. All you need to do is either buy a smoker, or find and old grill to convert into a smoker.

Once you start, remember to always brine smaller cuts, as well as any fish or bird meat. Finally, invest in a digital thermometer; it will be one of the best investments you make. That’s a better way to avoid the risks of parasites and bacteria referenced in this video without having to use your oven.
