This Woman’s Reaction to Getting a New Bow is Everything

This husband’s gift of a new bow just won him some serious brownie points.

They say the quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So what’s the secret for women? Well, this guy might have an idea for us. Who doesn’t love getting a new bow?

It started as a typical day headed to the field for this couple. After arriving at the range, Chris Breau and his wife began pulling out their hunting bows and getting ready to shoot. Only this woman got a little extra surprise when she reached into her case.

Typically the process to choose a new bow is an intense one. Getting measured to determine the correct draw length and draw weight are critical. Then there are all of the personal touches like determining your preferred axle-to-axle, cam system and brace height. And, we can’t forget that you generally have a wall full of options to browse through at your archery shop. It could be the new Mathews Triax, it could be the cutting-edge technology from Expedition Archery or maybe the Hoyt Carbon RX-1. You might prefer a bow from lineups offered by Bear Archery, Elite Archery or Bowtech Archery.

One thing we do know is all of these brands will tout smooth draws, adjustable draw cycles, high IBO speeds, modern hybrid cam systems and attractive riser designs. None of that mattered in this case, though. This woman was ecstatic with her new bow, and she didn’t have to deal with any of that.

Let’s just hope the bow had a comfortable grip.
